It all started in 1988 when three Cornishmen, Phil Ugalde and brothers Dave and Chris Pauling, became disillusioned with so-called ‘Cornish’ pasties.
They decided to take a stand for Cornish heritage and quality so, taking the Pauling family recipe and working with local farmers, they started hand-crafting exceptional quality traditional Cornish pasties.
Today, Phil, Chris, and the team are still at the heart of Cornwall in a state of the art bakery and using the same traditional principles.
