Product Description:

Portreath’s pasties have been hand crimped in Portreath bakery since 1988.

We make all of our pasties the traditional Cornish way. Our cheese pasty is filled with Westcountry Cheddar, Potato, Swede & Onion, then crimped by hand using only the finest locally sourced ingredients.
For our fresh meats we use Robert Trevarthen from Roskrow in Penryn and all meat is from local farmers and has full Cornish traceability. Our vegetables come from Potfresh who are based in Truro and have been loyal suppliers since 1990. Rosedown eggs from St Wenn are used for all our glazing making this pasty Cornish through and through.

Cooking Instructions >>

Our Portreath Bakery pasties are delivered to you frozen and unbaked in an ice packed, insulated temperature controlled pack.

To prepare:

These instructions are the producers recommendations and should be used as a guide only. Optimum cooking times will vary depending on the oven

For best results, always bake from frozen. Pre-heat oven to 190C (375F). Place on a lined baking tray and bake in the center of the oven for 50 to 55 minutes (55-60 mins for large) until pasty is golden brown and filling is piping hot (over 90C) and there you go… a full meal ready to go. Pop it on a plate or eat on the go using the bakery bags provided.

For best results, use the frozen pasties within 6 months of receipt. We bet however you won’t be able to wait that long!
